On September 12, 2008, the United States Coast Guard awarded a one-year contract to Kforce Government Solutions (KGS) for continued support in remediation of financial statement audit Notices of Findings and Recommendations related to capital acquisition and legacy property assets. This expanded effort includes support for analysis and remediation tasks required to accomplish Coast Guard Financial Strategy for Transformation and Audit Readiness (F/STAR) Mission Action Plan (MAP) milestones. KGS will provide remediation support services at Coast Guard Headquarters, Finance Center, Engineering Logistics Center, and Aircraft Repair and Supply Center locations.
